Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Javier Rodriguez Garcia, trading as Check My Rent Rise, 337 Euston Road, London NW1 3AD, United Kingdom. Email: hello@checkmyrentrise.co.uk. Website: checkmyrentrise.co.uk. We collect as little personal data as possible, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we process and why

Cookies and analytics
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The checker uses your browser's session storage only to remember your answers while the tab is open. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary security cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. We only share it with the service providers named above (Cloudflare for hosting, Stripe for payments), or where the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the UK under recognised safeguards.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. Because we don't keep checker answers or pack contents, there is usually nothing for us to provide or delete beyond purchase records and emails. To use your rights, email hello@checkmyrentrise.co.uk.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we have handled your data, please complain to us first at hello@checkmyrentrise.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we start using any new service that processes your data, we will update this notice first.
